Useful image adjustment tip: Image Edge Fill

Today we would like to talk about a useful image adjustment tip: Image Edge Fill.

Can you tell the difference between these two images?

There is obviously a thin black outline on the left image, and there are also some black spots on the bottom due to the damage of the document. The Image Edge Fill function is applied to the right image, therefore, the black outline and spots are filled with the background color. The image on the right-hand side is clear and beautiful, isn’t it?!

If you’re using DocAction to scan your document, you just have to tick the checkbox of Image Edge Fill

ScanParam_GB

Then click Global Settings button, and select Image Edge Fill setting page. You may choose to fill the image edge with background color automatically by the program. Or you may decide the thickness and the color of the border to fill the image inward or outward.
