Useful Scanning Tip: Punch Hole Removal

We haven’t talked about useful scanning tip for a while, today we would like to introduce the function of Punch Hole Removal.

Documents that are on file usually have punch holes for easier binding purpose. When scanning these type of files, the scanner will detect the hole leaving black dot over places where the punch hole is in place on the digitalize document. If you don’t want to see those black round dots, you need to open every image and erase each black spot manually. A dreaded tedious process, isn’t it?

It’s time to activate the Punch Hole Removal function!

Just tap on Advanced Settings button from the Plustek eScan Main Menu, swipe up the interface to enable the Punch Hole Removal function. The black dots on the scanned document would be removed automatically, isn’t it smart?!
