Touch screen interface is really easy to use. Can preview scans on the screen and edit/rescan pages if necessary before saving. Scans feed reliably and quickly …
I wanted a simple flat-bed scanner that will work with Win10. It makes very good scans. Unit is very light and uses USB power so no power supply is needed. I was skeptical about this but it works well. Bottom line is that for personal use if you don’t need a feeder this is a very good scanner.
I purchased this scanner to be able to convert my 12 inch x 12 inch scrapbooks into digital files. It is perfectly suited to the task. I researched scanners for this purpose, and most that will accommodate that size original are much more expensive. The quality of the scans is excellent.
I have been searching for a high end scanner for maybe 5 years or more as I am a historian & genealogist who scan antiquarian books & maps for my website and every one I tried was just not worth getting again. Then I thought one day I had never searched Amazon and when I searched for this up popped this AWESOME scanner.
I purchased this A3 scanner to scan in A3 artwork, mainly graphite/pencil drawings. I am extremely pleased at how much detail it can pick up in my artwork. There are four options on how to save your scan, once I decided which option to use, I found it easy, and I could crop, and rotate the scanned Image as well.
In relation to the previous A3 scanner I had this one is far better. I think it is well made, not flimsy and offers other possibilities as well as just scanning in documents. I like the straight through printing to the printer, I find the copying facility very good. I do not have to scan into the computer and then print out, this can be done directly.
This scanner does exactly what it says on the tin. It can whizz through 100’s of pages a day scanning both sides in a single pass and very rarely jams. As far as output quality goes it’s just as good as any modern color scanner. The RJ45 LAN connection comes in useful here because apart from allowing multiple users over the network it also permits you to set the scanner up in an area where there is plenty of space away from the computer.
