This scanner is FAST. The colors are nearly spot on, with true gray grays. Depth of field is great. Scanner is about half the weight of similar scanners. Only had it a few days, but have not found any troubles with it yet.
Thrilled so far with this affordable large-format scanner. I paint watercolor designs (mostly botanical and with detailed shading and colors) as well as illustrate with markers in black/white as well as colored markers (like Copic for manga and other types of illustrations). I needed to find a scanner large enough to scan my 12″x12″ paintings and illustrations. I decided I had to give this scanner a try because it is the only one I can possibly afford.
Plustek offers a total solution from hardware to software specifically customized for library sector to ensure a flawless work process and make digitizing reading materials easier than ever.
I use on a Mac. I’m a professional illustrator, and use it to scan in my drawings and watercolour paintings. I couldn’t afford to by a big name brand A3 scanner, so opted for this Plustek one as a budget version and it fits my needs perfectly.
The scan quality is great, the colours look exactly as they should be (colour tends to be off on most scanners I’ve used, this one picks it up perfectly)! It scans really quickly too, takes just a bit longer for anything 1200 dpi+.
I am using this scanner to scan 12×12 traditional scrapbook pages to recreate digital/printed copies. I used the highest resolution setting and the quality is incredible. I’m looking forward to using this scanner for many years to come for a lot of different projects.
This PLUSTEK OpticPro A320 scanner is a great value. The speed that it scans is a pleasant surprise; and the fact that it has such a large scanning area is terrific! The quality is superb; and I was hesitant at first. But I am glad I bought the product; and it is a great value.
It took me quite a while to find a Large Format Flatbed Scanner! That is, until I bought the OpticPro A320! You won’t be disappointed! It does everything you’ll want in a large flatbed scanner. Large 12″x 18″ scans, and it does have 1600 dpi hardware based capabilities!
